Students interested in museum informatics, digital art history, arts libraries, digitization, and metadata should attend! Melissa Gill (Digital Projects Manager), Alyx Rossetti (Software Engineer), Sally McKay (Head of Special Collections Services), and Annie Rana (Content Manager) will talk about current issues in their fields, how they address these issues through their work on projects such as the Getty Provenance Index Remodeling Project and the Getty Research Portal, how their careers have developed, and recommendations on professional development.
RSVP to Raphael by Monday the 8th at 5:30pm, as security must be notified and free parking reservations must be made. Attendance is limited to 15 students. We should assemble at the front entrance of the GRI at 12:45pm.
